New Buisness blog up and running!
Hey everyone I have Dashing Designs and Events blog up and running! I need all my loyal followers to follow me right on over to Dashing Designs and Events Blog, I will still be keeping this blog as my personal blog so you can follow me on my journeys, I am hoping to equally share my time with both blogs and not abandon my first blog! <3 I am very excited to start doing something that I love, here's to new beginnings !!!!!!!!! New Buisness blog!
I have spent the last couple days doing design mock ups for all the marketing stuff( as well as preparing for Waverly Place table). I choose to go with the first option from my last post as the over all concepts and design! I started and designed a new blog to help kick things off.

Help?
I feel like I am abandoning my blog :/ Shame on me! Lately, I've been taking the time out to do tons of research, reading and surfing the web to get a better understanding about event planning and the business aspect of it. I have gained a lot of useful information from this book I am currently reading called How To Start A Home-Based Event Planning Business, by Jill Moran. Man do I have a lot to do but like Jill says, If you don't set goals, You'll never reach them! So I am setting them in stone.
Amongst all of the other thing I have to begin doing, I have to start marketing myself. I am going to need your help... from business names, too colors, too spreading the word!
Right now, I would like to start with some marketing things. If you don't remember I graduated with my Bachelors in Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design... so I am gonna use what I have learned to my advantage and begin with Web Design, Logo Design, Business Cards, Letter Heads Etc. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I'm going to need your input with some things!
Here's Where I need your Help!
I have been browsing for color scheme/Prints and Patterns to use in all aspects of the brand from Logo, Website, Business card (all that I mentioned above). It might be hard for some of you to picture it but think of the how these color schemes and prints would look used in all formats.
So tell me which is your favorite!? Option 1, 2, 3 or 4 or suggest your favorite color scheme?

Bake Me A Cake
Okay, so I have been obsessing over wanting to try to bake new things like cookies and all kind of sweets. For a while now I have been following Bakerella.com and I love reading about all of her desserts that she makes, but most of all I love her "Cake Pops." Ironically she has a Cake Pops book coming out next month with all sorts of cake pops she's made and I am determined to start trying them and making them just as good her's ( or at least I'll try)!

Sweet Bars!
As I mentioned in one of my very first post, I was looking to start my own business. So I have decided to start off by doing custom dessert bars for any occasion. My first candy bar I created was for my engagement party and since then I did both my bridal shower and wedding and I enjoyed doing them all. So now I would love to start creating dessert bars for each and every one of you and anyone who would give me the pleasure in creating one for there event. These sweet dessert bars are not your typical dessert bars, I custom design each bar to your liking and theme! <3
Right now I am working on a Wizards of Waverly Place themed dessert table for a birthday party. I have been working on Thank You Tags, Happy Birthday Banner, Candy Labels and Goodie Bags. For now I will leave you with my color scheme and a little bit about the theme! I will post some more about the dessert table tomorrow! Can't wait to show you!
